WEEK 52: I've finished 2014! HOORAY!

Hi everyone! I hope that you have had a great week! I have had a whirlwind couple of weeks. We are getting settled here at our new country home - it's certainly been a massive change for us but we are unpacked and getting there (until we have to move again in a couple of months - but then we aren't moving again for a very, very, very long time!).

The day after moving I was lucky enough to go away with some of my most favourite ladies on our twice yearly Camp Paper Scissors retreat! I have posted about the retreat before here on the blog - it was super fun! Plus we had an 80's night - so stay tuned for those layouts!

My goal at camp was to finish 2014 and I almost got there - I just had to do a couple of layouts when I got home! So in this post I am giving you a look at my final week of 2014.

Week 52 was a massive week - it was Christmas week and we had lots of Christmas activities. The Christmas wood veneer that I designed with Carol at Craft Paper Scissors were perfect for this week.

Across the spreads I also used a lot of labels, including some cut out of the Good Cheer paper. I also used a lot of sequins and enamel dots sprinkled across the spread. Nothing says Christmas like a little bit of sparkle!

I love how the veneer look! At camp I was so excited to see so many people using our veneer in their layouts. It is so surreal to see my handwriting in people's album - it absolutely blows my mind.

Thanks so much to everyone for supporting us! There are still different sets available in the Craft Paper Scissors store - so head over there and snap some up!

One of my favourite things about the holiday season is getting to spend time with family and good friends.

Week 52 was so jam packed I ended up doing four Project Life spreads plus two traditional layouts!

As I blogged about previously I handmade all of our Christmas gifts and for all of the children in our lives I put together a Night Before Christmas pack. On Christmas Eve I got so many photos of all of the kids putting out their cookies, milk and the food for the reindeer! I decided to put together a layout of them!

I was so lucky to win an Elle's Studio prize pack on Instagram and included were a lot of Christmas stamps and bits and pieces from the Good Cheer collection. I never win anything so I was stoked! Plus, Good Cheer is an awesome collection so I loved using it across the spreads.

I also purchased the Good Cheer paper from Craft Paper Scissors, along with the awesome thickers! How great are the gold and the red glitter thickers! I almost used all of them!

I based my final layout on the Scrappy Canary February Sketch. It was a great sketch! You have until the 1st of March to enter! So make sure that you get your entries in ASAP! I can't wait to see your creations!

So there you have it! WEEK 52!!!! HOORAY!!!!!!! All I have left to do is the front and back pages of my three 2014 albums (and out trip album) and 2014 is done and dusted! I'll be back soon with more shares, so stay tuned! I hope that you have a great week! Love & light, Lauren xx
