Melbourne International Film Festival - 16 days, 70+ films, will I survive #miff2014?

Happy Friday lovelies! Hope you are all well! I'm excited! For those of you that don't know, I'm slightly obsessed with movies. I think it has to do with the fact that I grew up in a cinema that my Mum managed when I was a kid. Anyway, my festive season starts today!

Today is the first day of the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) and I'm on the tram to my first film!

As I'm not working at the moment I have over 70 films scheduled over the next 16 days! It's highly ambitious, I probably won't make it to them all due to I'm sure an impending vitamin d deficiency and sheer cinematic overload, but a girl's got to try!

I'll be posting all of my reviews over on Twitter @theotherbacall so head over there to keep up to date and I will try to post some longer posts and reviews over the festival. Make sure you also follow #miff2014 for all the Twitter fun!

Some of the films I'm really excited about at this festival are: Pulp; Boyhood; Babylon; Happy Christmas; The Grandmaster; Time is Illmatic; Ping Pong Summer and so many more!

Anyway, here's to an incredible MIFF! Love & film, Lauren xxx
