Kellie Stamps…SWOON!

Hi all, I was so lucky to be asked by the gorgeous Kellie from Kellie Stamps to guest design for her this month. To get to know Kellie and her stamps make sure you head over to her blog, you won't regret it.

I was lucky enough to get to create with two of this month's stamp sets - HOME SWEET HOME (which is unfortunately sold out) and THIS SUCKS - which is still available in the store although I have no idea why, it is awesome!!

I normally focus on Project Life but for these guest creations I created a card in a box, a 60th birthday card and a layout. These stamps were so much fun to work with!

My first creation was a card in a box using the HOME SWEET HOME set. A card in a box seems to be one of the latest card crazes, it is a box that folds down into an envelope. The HOME SWEET HOME stamp set is great and I knew that it would be perfect for my Mum's Mother's Day card.

My mum loves gardening, especially her vegetable garden. So I got out my Silhouette and altered a card in a box template to have a veggie theme. I then stamped the sentiments and attached them to sticks so that they would like garden stakes. Mum loved it and I am really happy with how it turned out.

The next stamp set I used with the THIS SUCKS set and I created a card for my Mum 60th birthday. My Mum is a complete character so I knew that the WTF, THIS SUCKS and the ARE YOU KIDDING ME? stamps were perfect as I knew she wouldn't be taking her 60th birthday too seriously.

To match the card I created a layout using both stamp sets. I continued on with the neon theme for the layout to celebrate Mum's birthday. I used a predominantly black and white layout (including the photo) which I knew would make the pink neon pop!

I stamped the WTF as a background for the layout (WTF 60 LOL!) in black with moments of pink neon. I also used some neon mists for the background, some Kellie Stamps flair and enamel dots. I then used crepe paper to create a ruffled look. I love this layout!

It was so great to get to create with Kellie's stamps. Head on over to her blog so that you can see more of my creations. Enjoy! L xx
