More 2014 Project Life - Weeks 2, 3 & 4

Hello lovely ones, I'm back here on the blog showing you more of my creations from the #camppaperscissors retreat - I managed to finish week 2, 3 &4 - combine that with my Week 5 progress last week, I am up to February! Such a shame we are in March, LOL! As always I need to apologise for the quality of the photos - I get home from work, keen to update my blog but the light is terrible for photos!

First up is Week 2. I made this week using all of the goodies from the Studio Calico Copper Mountain kit. I love love love love this kit - the colours of the cards, the embellishments, the stamps! I think that it might be one of my favourites. You can see that I cut up the two green journalling cards and used them as banners throughout the layout. I also used SNAP letters, a previous Studio Calico stamp set and some Kellie Stamps - make sure you go and check out all of Kellie's awesome stamps, they really make any layout pop!

This was also a great week personally, it was my last few days of holidays - I ate great good, had fun, crafted and got my yogini on. Plus, cute nephews and cute puppies - what more could a girl want!

Week 3 was another great week and a chance to pull out a kit that I had been hoarding for a while, and that was Polly! Scraps Rainbow Paddlepop kit. This kit is sublime and I still have a lot of it yet. The American crafts paper and the matching embellishments were just so bright and really allowed me to show off some fun events of the week! This week I also got to style a friends baby shower - it was too cute. I will do an upcoming blog post on some of the recent events that I have worked on. I promise. The highlight of this kit was the white acrylic camera - made by the one and only Amy Tangerine! It warranted a pocket all to itself! Amy is such a creative genius! Also, if you love the Rainbow Paddlepop kit there are still some left in the Polly! store (which I cannot believe because they are amazing) - so head over there and buy one ASAP! I still have plenty of product left, so I see a few more fun layouts coming up!

Week Three was so busy that I did another double page spread documenting our day at the zoo with Ash's brother, sister-in-law and our gorgeous nephews! It was so much fun! I used the Becky Higgins Zoo theme pack and for the first time ever I let the cards and the photos speak for themselves. I put down the embellishments and it was nice to step outside my comfort zone!

Finally, Week Four. This week was so much fun I knew it needed bright colours! I had just bought a couple of pieces of paper from the Studio Calico Lemon Lush collection which I was desperate to use - so I cut them down and then pulled out all of the embellishments and alphas that I knew would go with it. Bright coloured washi, mixed with silver letters and fun summer stamps from Studio Calico! This layout just makes me smile, not only because of the colours but also because of the memories, especially of the great day we had at the Big Day Out!

So there you go, my latest Project Life creations! I hope that you all enjoyed them! In the comments let me know where your work is, I'd love to see your creations! Loves, L xx
