Camp Paper Scissors: Volume Three!

Hi everyone! I hope that you are all having a great start to the week! I am on a high - I had an incredible weekend with a room full of hundreds of beautiful souls becoming a Certified Angel Card Reader! I will definitely post all about soon, so watch this space.

Speaking of amazing weekends, at the beginning of October I went to my third Camp Paper Scissors retreat at a great camp north of Melbourne. Camp Paper Scissors is coordinated by two amazing women, Carol Fry, the owner of Craft Paper Scissors, and Michelle Stokes, who you can find over at Gettin Her Craft On

I created a double page spread to document our weekend at Camp, using all of the goodies that we were given in our goodie bags. I started with the Dazzle Edition, which is amazing, especially the gold elements and the bright colours. I then used a Freckled Fawn alpha and the Project Life photo overlays. They are great and add an awesome touch to the photos.

One of my favourite things about Camp is the incredible women that it has brought into my life - so many good friends, laughter and fun!

One of the funniest people that I know, is Mel! She is so full of fun and joy! She is honest, she is real and she is super talented (even though she doesn't know it most of the time)! Mel is just getting back into blogging so make sure you head on over and visit her at Paper, Glue & A Lot of Love - you can see her awesome creations - she is an incredible scrapbooker and also creates this amazing crochet blankets!

I loved creating this layout of Mel (Carol and I) - I made a background using the special Camp Paper Scissors stamps created by Kellie Stamps. Love them!

Camp Paper Scissors also introduced me to one of my most favourite people - Carol Fry over at Craft Paper Scissors. Carol is my sounding board on so many things and not a day goes by where I don't talk to her (or to our other partner in crime, Kate Van Der Pol over at Five At Eleven).

Over the weekend, Carol and I laughed and laughed and played so many fun songs! The above layout is about our dance off during archery, in an attempt to distract each other! Carol kept bombarding me with Red Foo and I smacked her butt to Ginuine's Pony! So much fun!
