Christmas is coming - now what to create?

Now, starting off, I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas in general - the big meal, family functions, are just not my thing (this year we haven't even put up a tree) but I do love Christmas craft - so there you go! By stealth I end up getting well and truly into the festive spirit.

Mass producing cards is one of my favourite things to do, the repetitive work has an almost therapeutic element. While I am not that into Christmas I love spending the time making the cards and thinking about all of the people we are sending them to - it's so great to take the time to reflect. I also made them while I was with my friend Kate from Five at Eleven - so she provided great creative guidance!

This year I decided to make a modern card, with a traditional colour scheme. Stampin Up provided the perfect paper and the deer stamp. I modelled my card on a similar design that I had seen on Split Coast Stampers but I added my own twist. The 'JOY' stamp from Kellie Stamps finished off the card - I am just in love with that font!

Stampin Up products are a Christmas craft staple in my house and I am lucky enough that my BFF is a demo - so make sure you visit Liv and the team at Inkreations and show them some love (and buy some great goodies)!

I have also had a couple of custom orders to make Christmas cards, so here are these creations too, made using stamps from Stampin Up, Kellie Stamps and Polly Scraps.

In addition to cards, there's the gift tags, lots of lolly bags, presents, boxes and now with the Cameo I am going a bit vinyl crazy!

Now, lots of Project Lifers are getting into December Daily - a day to day story about their Christmas adventures in December. I don't really want to do a separate album but rather incorporate it into my Project Life. Now, to finish my November pages so I can get onto documenting my December.

Have a great lead up to Christmas. L xx
